I have always liked tiny things. One of my friends from my graduate-school days said that it was a "Libra-thing". She is a Libra, too. As a card maker I have a lot of particularly tiny notions such as beads, brads, charms, playing cards, dice, and so on. But how do you organize these items so that you can find them when you need them? And don't lose them? I store some of my card making embellishments in round tins with windows. I also have a cast-off nail and screw organizer from my husband that works nicely. But I recently discovered these tiny zip-lock bags in the beading section of the craft store. I've started using these tiny bags for a myriad of things. For example, they're a great solution for one of my biggest pet peeves...the eyeliner pencil sharpener in your make-up bag. You put the sharpener in your make-up bag and inevitably your make-up bag eventually has pencil shavings and marks on the insides. Now I put the sharpener in the little bag. Or if you want to carry some toothpicks in your purse (because as you've gotten older, your teeth have gotten closer together and you can't eat a single meal without getting something caught in your teeth!), three or four toothpicks also fit nicely in these little bags. Or perhaps you want to carry a single day's vitamins, or a spare pair of earrings, just put them in the little bag, also known as a "bagette".
